coaching and training

Coaching and training sessions are optional and a great way to improve on Personal Bests.

Please note some sessions only run for part of the season. Training is optional and the focus is on the development of correct techniques for the particular event.  Details of specific sessions will be advertised on the notice board. Any athlete wishing to achieve a specific goal is encouraged to discuss the preparation of a suitable program with the relevant coach at training sessions or on competition nights. The training is provided to Inner West athletes at no cost to the athlete. You can contact the Coaching Team on

To qualify for club sponsored coaching and training, it is a condition that the athlete must attend Friday Night competitions.

               Mondays 6pm-7.30pm November to March


                Tuesdays 6pm-7.30pm September to November

Jumps (Long Jump & Triple Jump)

                Wednesdays 6pm-7.30pm September to March

Throws (Shot put, Discus & Javelin)
